Supply Planning Consultant (RELEX)

Our client wants an experienced supply planning implementer to help deliver manufacturing projects on RELEX. You do not need RELEX experience, but you do need to have taken a planning tool from beginning to end and want to learn a new system.

The client

A specialist supply chain planning consultancy and RELEX partner, working with clients across Europe from first workshops through to support after go-live. It is a small, growing team with short lines of communication and room for your own ideas, and it hires for the long term.

What you’ll do

• Act as the client’s main point of contact
• Lead workshops on challenges such as MPS, MRP, capacity planning and replenishment
• Map planning processes and design the solution with the client
• Configure, test and validate new planning logic in RELEX yourself
• Train planners and users, and help the organisation adopt the new way of working

What you need

• End-to-end implementation experience on a supply planning tool, such as Kinaxis, o9, OMP or Blue Yonder
• Hands-on configuration work that you can describe in detail
• Working knowledge of bills of materials, MPS, MRP, finite capacity, inventory optimisation, safety stock and scheduling
• Confidence leading client workshops
• Fluent English and the right to work where you are based

Useful, not essential

• Consulting experience on the manufacturing side
• Food manufacturing experience
• RELEX experience
• Dutch

Worth knowing upfront

• Learning RELEX: expect to start on workshops and client process work after basic training, with configuration following about three to four months into a project. Formal RELEX training for this area is limited, so the team trains you internally.
• Location: the Netherlands is preferred. In the UK, the role is hybrid with an office in northern England, ideally weekly or at agreed intervals. Elsewhere in Europe, expect to travel to the Netherlands every few weeks.
• Language: the office works in English. Dutch helps with the team and clients, but it is not a requirement.
• Pay: there is no fixed band. Salary depends on experience and location, and we will discuss it on the first call.
• Benefits: the Dutch package includes a pension, lease car and hybrid working. We will confirm the UK package on the first call.
