Program Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of cross-functional IT projects in a fast-paced, international environment.

You will lead diverse project teams, coordinate technical implementations, manage organisational change initiatives, and ensure projects meet technical, financial, and business objectives. This role is critical to delivering high-quality solutions that align with our strategic goals.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong IT background, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. Proficiency in both German and English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional project teams, including technical implementation, process reengineering, and organisational change activities.
• Develop and execute project plans to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Select and leverage technical and business resources to meet project requirements.
• Align project teams around vision, strategy, goals, methodology, and objectives.
• Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring efficiency and adherence to targets.
• Lead regular reviews with stakeholders, including senior IT and business leaders.
• Coordinate program communications and maintain alignment with external and internal stakeholders, such as subcontractors and service providers.
• Ensure project outcomes meet high quality standards, achieving business case targets and delivering planned value.

Requirements and Skills

• Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager, with exposure to diverse IT contexts.
  • Proven track record in managing IT solution architecture implementations, including software development, configuration, integration, and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience in retail projects is a strong advantage.
• Education and Certifications:
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Finance, or related fields.
  • Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
• Skills:
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, with proficiency in both German and English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management, ensuring alignment and satisfaction across all levels.
