Merchandise Business Consultant

We are looking for a knowledgeable and engaging Merchandise Business Consultant to assist our clients in optimising their merchandising processes within the retail fashion sector.

In this role, you will lead workshops to evaluate and improve business processes, identify key areas for enhancement, and propose tailored solutions, including Oracle Retail options, in collaboration with application experts. Your strong communication skills will enable you to guide debates and foster alignment among stakeholders.

This position requires a deep understanding of merchandising within retail fashion, strong analytical abilities, and fluency in German.

Responsibilities

• Lead client workshops to analyse and discuss as-is and to-be business processes.
• Gain a thorough understanding of current merchandising processes, identifying key aspects and areas for improvement.
• Present possibilities for Oracle Retail usage with support from application experts.
• Propose tailored solutions that align with client needs and business objectives.
• Facilitate clear and constructive communication, guiding debates and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
• Maintain professionalism and deliver exceptional client service throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements and Skills

• Experience:
  • Solid knowledge of merchandising in the context of retail fashion.
  • Proven ability to lead workshops and engage clients in process optimisation discussions.
  • Background in business consulting; IT knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Skills:
  • Native-level proficiency in German and strong English skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively guide client discussions.
  • Analytical mindset, able to identify improvement areas and propose actionable solutions.
• Education and Certifications:
  • Relevant academic background or equivalent professional experience.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Retail is a plus.
